The Placed Based Leadership Programme, which brings together local residents, community organisations and statutory agencies to design, implement and review solutions to complex challenges in Drogheda communities, launched on Wednesday 26th January in the D Hotel, Drogheda. This programme, alongside a sister programme in Darndale, is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development, and supported locally by Louth LCDC and Louth LEADER Partnership. Minister Joe O’Brien of the Department of Rural and Community Development delivered a virtual welcome address to participants, while Ciaran Reid, CEO of Louth LEADER Partnership; Paddy Donnelly, Chief Officer of Louth LCDC and Michael Keogh Chair of Drogheda Implementation Board also welcomed participants and wished them well on their 18 month journey through the programme.
