Official opening of Drogheda College

Drogheda Implementation Board members were honoured to attend the official opening of Drogheda College by Minister Simon Harris today, and to have Louth & Meath ETB as key partners (and our host organisation) in the delivery of actions within the Drogheda Report Implementation Plan. The opening of Drogheda College LMETB is a very important, very innovative response to Action 6.2 in the Plan. Congratulations to all the team who delivered this project in record time!

Speaking at the event Michael Keogh, Chair of Drogheda Implementation Board said

“As Minister Harris noted this morning this building is a symbol of hope and investment in Drogheda. Alongside other recent and upcoming announcements regarding education provision in Drogheda, this state of the art facility shows the government’s continued commitment to implementing actions within the Drogheda Report Implementation Plan and creating a variety of educational and training opportunities for the area.”
