Drogheda Implementation Board welcomes new Community Safety Innovation Fund

Apr 12, 2022

The Drogheda Implementation Board welcomes the publication yesterday of the Community Safety Innovation Fund by Minister Helen McEntee and the Department of Justice. This announcement directly aligns to action 2.7 of the Drogheda Report Implementation Plan and allows proceeds of crime to be directed into community projects which support community safety. A fund of €2million has been made available for projects from €20,000 to €150,000. The fund is a competitive application process open to communities all across Ireland and the Drogheda Implementation Board will be working hard to maximise drawdown for projects in the Drogheda area.
